Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order Guide - Best Skills To Unlock First ─ GameSpot

Jedi: Fallen Order has many fan-favorite Force powers and lightsaber attacks. Here's a rundown of the best ones to unlock as soon as you can. Captured on PC.

Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order can be challenging with tough encounters involving Imperial mobs and the imposing Purge Troopers. There are bound to be players who are not familiar with this style of Soulsborne-like gameplay systems and just want to enjoy what Fallen Order brings to the Star Wars franchise. So, to help you get off the right foot, we've outlined the best skills to unlock in the video above.

You'll want to boost your max health (Survival Skills) since healing is hard to come by in the opening hours and max Force (Force Attunement) since Force powers will be key throughout the game. The other thing to unlock early is Overhead Slash, which deals devastating blows to enemies.

Once you start to open up your skill tree, look to upgrade Force Push. And eventually, you'll want to start strengthening Force Slow, as it's one of the more useful powers when things get tougher. As for Lightsaber skills, Dash Strike, Lightsaber Throw, Sprint Strike, and Delay Thrust are all useful in the right scenarios. In the video, we go into more detail on when you should unlock these and also show you how they're best used.
