Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is bringing weapon variants back to CoD. They are similar to AW variants but maybe even more variable? The Epic variants also have gun perks built in which can vary from minor to extremely powerful like the Nuke. While this definitely gives way to balance concerns and even more supply drops, Infinity Ward decided to add in a crafting mechanic where you can break down weapons you don't want and use the parts to build the variants you do want!
