Monster Hunter: World, was first released for consoles January 2018 and has been immensely successful since. It's a quirky game that's jam packed with interesting bits and pieces. So much so that even after logging hours upon hours, the game is as engaging as it was at the beginning.

Of course, this is by no means a good game for everyone. The grind is rough, there's a lot of crafting and the storyline is seriously lacking. It's a game targeted at a specific audience.
