Remasters are more common than remakes, and the story of RE2 remake is a surprise to be sure but a welcome one. The Resident Evil franchise started off as a pillar of survival horror, but in time grew to be more centered on the action rather the ambiance. But then Resident Evil 7 debuted and the horror was back. Things were scary, uneasy, southern. And the reception to this style paved the way for the Resident Evil 2 remake. But can a game from the past be polished with current engines and graphics? Where do we draw the line between preserving that nolstagiac gaming experience to then improving upon limitations of that time? Let's play Resident Evil 2 to fine out!
