Reigning NA LCS champions Team Liquid defend their title against Cloud9 at the Summer Finals in Oakland. After seven years of disappointing finishes for the Team Liquid franchise, owner Steve Arhancet finally has a championship to his name and is hungry for another. Standing in his way is Cloud9, a team rallying around an unlikely hero amid an unprecedented run from last place to the finals. As the teams clash at Oracle Arena, both hope to continue their comeback stories; but only one will claim the trophy and North America's top seed at Worlds.
