2017 Nintendo had one of the best years ever. They had everyone excited from day one. Nintendo had to put all their cards on the table, when it came to the switch, and deliver, which, they did.
With the release of the Switch came Zelda: Breath of the Wild. Considered, by some, to be one of the best games ever made. It will go down in history to be one of the best launch titles ever. Innovative gameplay and puzzle design made it so you could spend hundred of hours just getting lost and figuring out the incredible world.
But what would Nintendo be without a Mario game? Mario Odyssey is, considered by some, to be one of the best games ever made. Mario Odyssey was a perfect capper to a stellar year of Nintendo releases. Introducing cappy, a hat that you throw on things to become them. That’s what makes this game so great, just how simple it is. Similar to Zelda, it lays down base concepts right at the beginning and, you, as a player, expand on them.
