I've been to a lot of retro gaming expos lately and every time Rocket Knight Adventures has been mentioned or displayed. And with the price of the Rocket Knight cartridge going up, I decide to review this growing cult classic.

What I got was a classic platformer by Konami with a badass character named Sparkster. The game doesn't have much plot inside until you open the manual and....yea. It gets pretty deep. But hey, that soundtrack rocks!

So, 10 years later (if you're following the lore-heavy manual) fight the pig death star. That's the best to describe it. Look, it's a Rocket Knight, or Rocket Opossum, that flies and hangs upside down with bumpin' tunes. I can see why this game has become so popular amongst retro gaming fans.
