The heroes encounter Lava Valkyries with Mecha Jr. - the Midboss. Mecha Jr. will behave like Smashers, rushing the heroes after they land a successful hit. This can be used to draw Mecha Jr. into the zone of Sentries. Focus on attacking the boss, and the Valkyries will also take damage after casting 'Protection' on Mecha Jr.
This level also introduces a new environmental effect Pyroclast, which causes fire to rain down on the battlefield. Pyroclast will also apply the 'Burn' Super Effect to any heroes or enemies it hits.
