Mega Man faced trials of similar classic IPs, of being churned out and remade until one of them might stick. But the idea of a portable Megaman game spawned from the success of the Pokemon games and this brought new life to the franchise. Battle Network spawned was a huge hit with many sequels and even an anime.
Megaman Battle Network takes place in an alternate version, where we get to see things from Megaman's perspective, INSIDE the internet. Mega Man and Lan team up to fight off viruses and rogue EXE files that are possessing everything from appliances to major utilities. There's plenty of chips to collect, secret bosses to battle, this rpg will eat up some time so let's see how it fits into the Mega Man family!
