Underrated is a new series about films, games, TV shows, and other media that are well, underrated. Episode 1 is starting off with Rollerball (1975). This movie is quite old now, and is often thought of as nothing more than a stupid action movie. However, it is so much more than that. Rollerball discusses topics of corporate fascism, natural morality, assisted suicide, legal prostitution, drug abuse, environmental destruction, and predicted the rise of e-Books. So, I thought it would be a perfect debut for this series!
